For Socially Positive Organisations
Your organisation is trying to make a positive impact on your community, or society, or the world as a whole.
Passion, drive and commitment are your foundation. But, to have an impact and to make what you do sustainable you need your work to be understood and recognised for the benefits that it brings.

Impact

To be a socially positive organisation often involves complex business models that can be difficult to explain. In addition, such organisations often have a greater burden of proof than traditional for-profit businesses. There is an expectation that you can quantify your organisation’s impact so that you can meet compliance requirements. Stories create clarity when trying to communicate complex ideas. And, because the brain processes stories differently, they can be more persuasive than rational arguments.
Sustainability

It would be nice to be able to just focus on having a positive impact on the world, but the reality is that to make a difference you have to keep finding the money and resources to continue your work. A story can communicate your value proposition on a deep level to help you secure funding, recruit people and get access to resources and infrastructure. It can open doors to expand your relationships. And, when you’re scaling up and applying for large grants from risk averse funding bodies, a story can help to mitigate concerns and show the bigger picture of what your organisation could do.

Recognition

Being recognised for the impact that your organisation is having is necessary to achieve sustainability and, quite frankly, you deserve it for trying to make the world a better place. Recognition empowers your staff by helping them to articulate why they’re there and it gives them more reason to stay. But it’s hard to be heard in a noisy world and trying to can come across as superficial and inauthentic. A video about your organisation can be honest but will have limited engagement. A genuine story that connects emotionally with your audience will do more than just tell people about the good that you do, it will make them feel it.
At Panther Tales we find the strongest story that will give your audience an emotional connection in order to achieve your objectives. Then we develop that story into an engaging journey. And finally, we craft that journey into a film to be shared and shown wherever your audience is to be found.
